The laboratory has established four core technology platforms: the molecular biology platform, the microbial and metabolic products technology platform focusing on strain isolation, screening and cultivation, studying microbial growth patterns and extracting high-value metabolic byproducts, the enzyme preparation technology platform dedicated to enzymatic reaction research including enzyme separation, purification and efficacy evaluation to develop enzyme-based raw materials for industrial production, and the fermentation process optimization platform.
